Weymouth Quality Engineering Ltd was founded by Roger Cary and Len Harris in 1983, with the purpose of producing high quality precision engineered components, having both served their apprenticeship within the South West of England during the 1960's. Throughout the early years WQE gradually abandoned the identity of a small specialist business that characterised its initial steps to eventually become the successful company that it is today.

WQE has progressed and undertaking many new changes over the years.Wayne Cary served his apprenticeship with WQE during the late 1980’s and has now become a director and shareholder of the Company. 

The company operates in various fields of high technological content providing a wide spectrum of parts which include hydraulic, oxygen, ECS, fuel systems, sonar, fighting vehicle and many other components pertaining to aerospace, defence and high quality commercial industries.

In today’s increasingly challenging market place the company remains competitive by constantly striving to reduce lead times and cost to its customers. This is being achieved by employing a vigorous and highly skilled work force.

The current structure of the company permits WQE to offer a complete service to all of its customers beginning with the supply of raw materials and concluding with the transportation of the finished products within a specified deadline.
